Amazing crew, especially Pedro and Afley; Troy = ❤

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Azamara Journey

N.C.
First Time Cruiser • Age 30s

I am currently 2/3 of the way through the Greece intensive cruise on the Azamara Journey. Even though the cruise is not done the first part has been so stellar that I am certain that unless the boat sinks in the next three days (which I think it is extremely unlikely to do) the rest of the itinerary will be just as wonderful. Overall this was a super great cruise, and I would very much ...

Azamara - Smaller Isn’t Always Better!

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Azamara Journey

MeDJG
6-10 Cruises • Age 70s

Azamara Journey 6/8-6/15 Veranda Istanbul - Athens Itinerary- 6/10 - some ports not worth visiting Overall rating: 7/10 Pros From the top (Captain) down, the crew is very friendly and accommodating. You feel appreciated. Champagne upon arriving is a nice touch. Free flowing wine and an assortment of specialty drinks included. Boarding is effortless although ...

"Luxury" is in the details.

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Scenic Eclipse

ODKEEFE
10+ Cruises • Age 60s

Billed as "ultra luxury" but nothing of the sort. The company needs to understand the difference between luxury expeditions vs luxury cruising. When cruising on small ships, "luxury" is having a smooth personal check-in procedure, not arriving at dock with no one representing the ship and after 10 minutes being told to wheel your luggage down the pier yourself to a tent. Luxury is soft towels ...

Absolutely Superb (one significant negative)

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Seven Seas Explorer

CaptainCook808
6-10 Cruises • Age 60s

All in all an amazing experience. We've previously sailed on Viking and this is worlds better. (There is one small negative and one medium, that they are addressing, negative.) So here goes. The ship is very nice although I think the Viking ships are a bit nicer. But this is very close and very nice. The excursions are amazing. First the number. So many it seems like every passenger could go ...

Silver Sea NEVER AGAIN!

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Silver Spirit

Cruiser Daniel
10+ Cruises • Age 60s

We just got off the SilverSea Spirit, from Lisbon to Southampton, our fourth and DEFINITELY our LAST time on SilverSea.. Physically the boat needs to be gutted; it is dated and ugly. The carpeting throughout is old and worn. The furniture is probably as old as the carpeting. Aesthetically, it wasn’t pleasing when everything was new and now it is ugly, dated and way past its prime. My family goes ...

UniWorld Does Not Act in Good Faith

Review for a Europe - River Cruise Cruise on S.S. Antoinette

Dee Teacher
2-5 Cruises • Age 60s

UniWorld Cruise, as a company, was a disappointment. Unfortunately because of flooding conditions on the Rhine River, we missed out on the first four days of our sailing cruise and three cities. UniWorld was well aware before the trip started that we would not be able to sail to our locations. They should have given us the option of canceling and rebooking, we would have chosen to reschedule. ...

Beautiful, momentous experience

Review for a Europe - River Cruise Cruise on Scenic Sapphire

Escape with Elaine
First Time Cruiser • Age 60s

A beautiful ship with well appointed cabins. The crew kept the boat and our cabins spotless. They were friendly, helpful and courteous. The food and drink reflected the cuisine of the Rhone. Fresh, delicious and plentiful. Our cruise director was fun, effervescent and always took care of any special request or detail. We felt that we were well looked after. The tours were outstanding ...

Our 1st Oceania Cruise

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Marina

Jobo1949
2-5 Cruises • Age 70s

Excellent 12-day cruise aboard the Marina. The cruise met all our expectations except for some of the shore excursions which in my opinion went too deep into the historical details of the place vs. giving us time to freely experience/roam around/shop on our own. The ship's crew was very attentive to all our request and the smaller ship size was a very nice change from the larger cruise ships. The ...

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Seabourn Odyssey

phxbear1
10+ Cruises • Age 70s

Once I entered the cabin and noticed a black banana in a fruit bowl along with dried out grapes, I thought that this suite was not for me! There were tags in the closet from past guests. The carpet had been fraying after a section had been replaced. Food was average- bread and croissants had been frozen and defrosted. The first night, in the Restaurant I ordered a filet mignon medium rare. ...

Pros and Cons on this size ship, but worth it.

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Regatta

EyesOfDeWorld
10+ Cruises • Age 60s

Long-time cruiser (Europe riverboats on Viking, Uniworld, AMA, the 3k passenger ships to the Caribbean and Baja) but our first on this ~600 passenger size ship and first experience w/Oceania. PROS: Staff was excellent all-around, wine was generally very good, entertainment top-notch. Specifically, the all-purpose band of elec. guitar/bass, keys and drums supported the shows as well as being ...
