Disappointed

The hotel (Southern Sun Cullinan) is 3 star at best & the room assigned to us was so small we couldn't put our bags down.The "premium" wine was somewhat better - but nothing was over 5 years old and priced at 3 times what I could buy it for in my overtaxed country (Canada).Read More

Ship was Meh, but the itinerary was awesome

The More At Sea offered only 1 Sauvignon Blanc, Tini from Italy, it costs less than $6 bottle in the USA, tasted like vinegar, we always paid the small upcharge to get the Chilean Sauvignon as that was the only other one offered by the glass, however the Chilean was sometimes difficult to find.However, was saved this cruise was the amazing itinerary, one of the best I've ever been on.Read More

Excursions, entertainment, and services lacking

One word of caution: I didn't realise there are two types of PVs - one with a full sliding door (the best choice) and ours which had a door and a smaller window (split by a wall) which meant we didn't have as good a view.One traveler commented that it felt like false advertising and that they would not have booked if they had known so many ports and excursions would not be available for our particular trip.Read More

A lot was very good; but some was severely lacking

Also outstanding was one of the two comedians on board for the first half of this cruise - that was Carl Guerra, who we saw both in the main theatre and at another 45 minute performance in one of the smaller venues: he was doubly talented, as he also played the guitar, and was able to work that in brilliantly, into his comedy routine - 45 minutes of non-stop laughter.Now to the not so good: first, the lineups for the Cruise Next desk, also the Internet desk and even, at times, the Guest Services desk were often long - so that passengers had to remain standing for a half-hour, sometimes more, to get to the front of the line.Read More
